C'est fait. Après de nombreux rebondissements, Le Royaume-Uni quitte l'Union européenne. Dès le 1^er février 2020, l'article 50 prend effet.

The UK is entering a transition period. Clearly, a new era begins as the UK leaves the European Union. Three and a half year after the 2016 referendum, the United Kingdom is finally leaving the European Union. 

Even if the EU and Great Britain have agreed a one year transition period, the EU's lead trade negotiator Michel Barnier has said it will not be possible to agree everything within that time. During this transition period (that could be extended), the main goal is to agree on a comprehensive trade deal.
