⛈️Et si, comme Essie l'imagine, tu partais à l'aventure sous les éléments déchaînés... Orage, pluie, éclairs, tornade... 🏜️Serais-tu toi aussi effrayé comme Neko, qui n'est pas vraiment un aventurier, à l'idée de traverser un désert ?

Essie : I'm going on an adventure!

Neko : Where are you going this time?

Essie : I don’t know. I want to go to extraordinary places.

Neko : But last time, there was a tornado!!!

Essie : Yeah… It was so cool!

Neko : Cool? A tornado??

Essie : Huh! You’re so cute! I like danger, I am an adventurer!

Neko : You should wait until spring² or summer. Now, it’s autumn and soon it will be winter¹.

Essie : In America, they say fall, not autumn.

Neko : Are you going to the United States?

Essie : Yes! I’m going to White Sands in New Mexico, in the West of the United States.

Neko : White Sands?? But it’s a desert.

Essie : Well, in a desert, there is no ice, no rain, no floods³, no snow, no avalanches!

Neko : But there are sandstorms⁴. And it’s very hot!

Essie : Yes but in the desert at least I won’t catch a cold!

Neko : Very funny... You will be thirsty⁵. Nature is beautiful but sometimes it can be dangerous.

Essie : I know!

Neko : There is no water to refresh you if you are hot and thirsty.

Essie : Oh, thank you! I always forget that...! But I have my water bottle.

Neko : I prefer to stay here. I can see the sky through the window. That’s enough adventure for me!
