La drôle de mésaventure de Tom (texte en anglais)

Tom: One night last june, I went to Zach's flat. We needed to rehearse the fight scene from West Side story. So, we pushed the table and chairs aside and started rehearsing. We were wearing erm… black T-shirts, black jeans and we were holding plastic knives. It was about 11 o'clock at night and it was getting reallyhot in the flat, so we opened the windows… Thirty minutes later, someone rang the door bell. It was the police. The policemen said: ''Is everything ok, here?''. And we realized that they were looking at the plastic knives. So Zach said: ''Hey! Hey! These aren't real… they're plastic knives. We're actors. We're rehearsing the fight scene from West Side Story!'' And then the policemen burst out laughing and said: "You guys are great actors… your neighbours thought that you were, that you were fighting for real!" and then they left… End of story! Not bad hey? I love the part when they say that we're good actors.
